With the majority of the work of our practice being conducted at the Kapunda site, doctors have tended to live within the Kapunda township or close by.

Kapunda offers a variety of housing. There are many miners’ cottages often restored and modernized and Bed and Breakfast facilities, you'll certainly be able to find a place to suit your needs and requirements.  Below is a listing of local accommodation.

There is plenty of modern housing available for purchase also. For those after the rural lifestyle, there are many blocks in the 5 to 10 acre range only 3 to 4 minutes from the main street, some even closer. Larger and more secluded blocks again are available only 5 minutes from the main street

Rental property is available in Kapunda, and if required we have first access to four brand new three bedroom houses close to the main street. These are fully equipped with ensuite bathrooms, modern kitchens, under cover access to cars, and established low maintenance yards. These houses are ideal for families with the location on a quiet side street only a stone’s throw from the rear entrance to the local primary school.

Whilst the on call requirement is not particularly onerous; it would be difficult to conduct on call duties from accommodation outside of the immediate Kapunda and Eudunda district.
