New GP Registrar joins the practice
We are pleased to welcome Dr Wendy Baker to our practice. Dr Baker has come from a recent placement in the Riverland and is able to provide pre and post antenatal care in addition to acute patient care.

Tanya Tran is our visiting Pharmacist who is at the practice every Tuesday. I am a pharmacist and my interest lies with diabetes education. New Students for 2019
We welcome our new PRCC students to the practice pictured L – R Liam Ramsey, Sarah McArthur, Holly Colton. They will be placed in the practice till October and will have parallel consulting sessions with a practice Doctor, attend theatre and teaching sessions. The program aims to give them all experiences as a rural Doctor.

NEW Nurse Practitioner for Kapunda!
Congratulations to Jo Lewis on receiving her endorsement as a Nurse Practitioner. Jo completed her masters degree at Flinders University early this year. We will be offering an expanded range of Nurse led services in the coming months including new travel health immunisations and women’s health clinics.

On Monday 5th November 2018 our new practice at 4 Willow Drive opened for consultations. Dr Van Dissel and Dr Becker will now consult from Willow Drive. Access is available from our new car parks entry via Hill Street.

Construction Continues September 2018!
Kapunda Medical Practice was successful in 2017 in gaining a Rural General Practice Grant from the Department of Health. Our project has now been approved by Council and has commenced.
